Engine Multi Gauge
The engine is constantly monitored and various engine
conditions are displayed.
Engine rpm
Total run hours
Water temperature
Alternator Charge level
Other conditions are accessible by scrolling through the gauge.
There are two warning lights on the multi gauge –
AMBER indicates a condition out of range that
needs attention as soon as possible (after
completing the present spreading run). The
display will show a warning triangle in the centre
of the centre.
RED indicates a severe engine condition is
occurring requiring immediate attention. The
display will show a warning hexagon in the
centre of the centre.
When an engine fault appears, the display will show a warning
message, such as –
“HIGH WATER TEMPERATURE”
To return to the normal screen display, press the RH button.
For more information on the set-up and warning faults on the
display, refer to the maintenance section 2.
If RED illuminates, immediately take the load off the engine by
releasing any truck being towed. Stop the conveyors and
feedrollers, then move the machine in LOW range to a safe area
to investigate the cause. The multi gauge will display the
condition (oil pressure, water temperature, etc) that has caused
the condition.
HAZARD WARNING
DO NOT CONTINUE to operate or drive the machine
with the RED light ON.
The engine will start to lose power and cannot be
continue to be used with the RED light ON.
