Cleaning the cutter or perforator

Removing the cutter blades

•

Swivel the cutter or perforator away.

•

Actuate the release button (1). Take the blade assembly out of the panel.

•

If the blades are soiled only slightly, clean them with a soft cloth.

•

If the blades are heavily soiled with adhesive, the blades must be removed (see 

“Re-

moving the blades”

 on 

page 33

).

•

Hook the blade assembly into the axes. Swivel the blade assembly in the panel until it 

snaps into place.

•

Swivel the cutter towards the printer.

WARNING: Danger of cutting due to unintentional blade movement

Disconnect the printer from the power supply before installing, removing, or cleaning the 

cutter blade.
