4.3.4 Connecting switching outputs

The Ethernet extender has two digital switching outputs.
– DO switching output, digital (24 V, open)
– DIO switching output, digital (24 V, open)
You can set the switching outputs via the PSI-CONF configuration software.
4.3.4.1 Default setting

• Connect the cable to the corresponding screw terminal block.
NOTE: Malfunction
If voltage is supplied via USB or by means of DIN rail connectors, the switching outputs
(DO/DIO) cannot be used. The switching outputs only function if the voltage is supplied
via the COMBICON connectors.
NOTE: Malfunction
The switching outputs have to be connected to a load between 220 Ω and 100 k Ω .
DSL A DO = 24 V Good to very good connection
DO = open No or only moderately good connection
