The HomeCooker may
produce some smoke when
you use it for the first time.
It is normal for a new appliance to produce an
unpleasant smell or emit some smoke when it is
first used. This phenomenon stops after you have
used the HomeCooker a few times.
The stirrer blocks.
You put too many ingredients
in the pot.
Remove the ingredients and give the stirrer a light
push. Do not overload the pot.
During roasting a piece
of meat got stuck on the
bottom of the pot.
Give the stirrer a slight push.
The message
‘Err’ appears on
the display of the
HomeCooker.
An error has occurred.
Have the appliance checked by a service centre
authorised by Philips.
The display of the
HomeCooker
shows °C, but
I want to work
with °F.
This is possible.
Press the temperature increase and decrease
button at the same time for 3 seconds to switch
from °C to °F and back again.
The Cutting Tower
does not work.
The Cutting Tower is not
plugged in.
Put the plug in the wall socket.
The Cutting Tower is not
assembled properly.
The Cutting Tower only works if the bowl with
spout and the lid with feeding tube are fixed and
locked. Check if the lid with feeding tube and the
bowl with spout are properly fixed and locked.
The mains cord is damaged.
If the mains cord is damaged, you must have it
replaced by a service centre authorised by Philips.
I cut some
ingredients with
the Cutting Tower,
but the ingredients
are mashed.
It is possible that cooked
and/or very soft ingredients
get mashed when you use the
Cutting Tower to cut them.
Do not process very soft ingredients in the
Cutting Tower.
The Cutting Tower
is clogged.
You are processing ingredients
that are too hard or too soft.
Unplug the Cutting Tower, remove the lid with
feeding tube and gently remove the ingredients
with a spoon or spatula.
