Using [Alphanumeric keypad]:
You can select a channel using
[Alphanumeric keypad]
.
• Analogue channels will be stored in channel 1-99
and digital channels will be stored in channel 1-899
after it is scanned by this unit.
Using [SOURCE] button:
You can switch between digital channels, analogue
channels and external input (AV1/AV2/AV3/DV(AV4))
by pressing
[SOURCE]
repeatedly. The mode
changes as follows:
Please be noted that the analogue/digital channel will
be skipped when it is not stored at all.
Using [P / –] button:
• You can switch between digital channels when
watching digital programmes.
• You can switch between analogue channels when
watching analogue programmes.
• You can switch between the external inputs when
enjoying data from external devices.
Note
• You cannot switch between the digital channels, the
analogue channels and external inputs.
You can switch between TV audio modes by pressing
[AUDIO]
. Each mode is indicated on the TV screen.
• During reception of analogue bilingual broadcasts
• If the programme does not have more than one
sound track,
[AUDIO]
is not effective.
Many broadcasters provide a Digital Text Service in
the form of a dedicated Teletext channel. This Digital
Text Service includes high quality text and graphics
along with advanced navigation options.

Press [TEXT] to display Teletext screen.
• Digital Text for the TV channel you have
selected will be displayed.

Use [RED] / [GREEN] / [YELLOW] /
[BLUE] to follow the instructions on
screen.

Press [TEXT] to switch the Teletext
display off.
Note
• This unit supports MHEG5 data service.
• This unit does not support MHP data service.
• If you display the Teletext screen during the
recording, the Teletext screen will be recorded. In
addition, you cannot use
[Alphanumeric keypad]
for changing Teletext pages. Use
[

D
\
L
\
P
]
and
[OK]
to change the Teletext pages.
Electronic programme guide (On-screen TV guide)
gives you a list of the digital TV programmes and
detailed information about the programmes.

In stop mode, press [GUIDE].

• From the EPG screen, you can also set the
timer recording. Select the TV programme using
