How to enjoy the EasyLink function

Turn on the HDMI CEC operations on
your TV and other connected
devices. See TVs/devices manual for
details.

You can now enjoy the EasyLink
controls.
One touch play (Auto wake-up TV)
When you press
[
P
(PLAY)]
, this unit will wake- up
from standby mode and start disc play (if a video disc
is found in the disc compartment) and it will also turn
on your TV and switch to the correct viewing channel.
One touch power off (System standby)
When you press and hold
[
Q
(STANDBY-ON)]
, it will
put to standby this unit and all the linked devices via
HDMI CEC. This unit will also response to standby
command from other HDMI CEC compliant devices.
Note
• Philips does not guarantee 100 % interoperability
with all HDMI CEC compliant devices.
Channel Installation
You can retune this unit or edit the channel
installation by the following methods.
Program the tuner to scan both analogue and digital
channels available in your area.

In stop mode, press [HOME]. After
pressing [HOME], the message
“Time Shift Buffer will be cleared
depending on your selection. Do you
want to continue?” will appear.
Select “Yes”.

Select “General Settings” using
[
U
\
D
], then press [OK].
“General Settings” menu will appear.

Select “Channel” using [
U
\
D
],
then press [OK].

Select “Digital&Analog Tuning”
using [
U
\
D
], then press [OK].
The unit will start storing channels available in
your area.
Wait for several minutes to finish channel storing.
• Analogue channels will be stored in channel 01-
99 after it is scanned by this unit.

Press [HOME] to exit.
You can select only the channels stored in this
unit by using
[P / –]
.
To cancel auto tuning
Press
[BACK
U
]
or
[HOME]
during scanning.
Note
• The selection will be affected by how you receive TV
channels in your local area.
• If the auto tuning is cancelled during scanning,
some channels may not be stored.
