Chapter 4. Phone Features

You can use your phone to make, receive, and keep track of calls, and to send text messages (SMS)
and multimedia messages (MMS). You can also call a phone number directly from the Contacts
application, and copy SIM contacts to Contacts on the phone.
4.1 Making a Call
The Phone Screen
You can see Call History, Speed Dial and Contacts from
the Phone Screen. Moreover, you can open, call or find
a contact, and even save a new number in Contacts. To
access the Phone Screen, do any of the following:
•Press TALK (
).
•Tap > Phone .
Making a Call by Using the Phone Keypad
To enter phone numbers by tapping the screen directly,
you have to open the Phone Keypad.
1. On the Phone screen, tap
Keypad to bring up the
phone keypad. You can then tap in the phone number
using the touch-screen.
2. After entering the phone number, tap or press
TALK ( ).
