3. Align the infrared port on your device with the infrared port on your PC (or other sending
device) so that they are unobstructed and within close range.
4. After your PC detects a new infrared connection, select a file to send to your device and click
the
Send
button.
5. On your PC, you can see the file transmission information such as the filename and
percentage.
6. Tap
Yes
at the prompt to confirm receiving the file.
7. After the transmission process is finished, the file should appear on your device under
My
Documents
in the File Explorer.
Beaming an Item
In Calendar, Contacts, Notes, Tasks and Pictures, you can beam files and information to other
devices using infrared.
1. Select an item you want to beam, such as a Calendar appointment, contact or file. In
Calendar, for example, first open the appointment in Agenda view.
