Cleaning the machine
The required cleaning cycle for the sewing machine is dependent on the following factors:

Single or multi-shift operation
●
Accumulation of dust from the various fabrics
Thus, appropriate cleaning instructions can only be determined on an individual basis for
each machine.
To avoid operation disturbances, we recommend the following cleaning work for a machine
in single shift operation:
●
Clean the hook compartment and the needle area of the sewing head several times daily.
●
Clean the entire machine at least once a week.
Procedure:
●
Switch on the machine.
●
Call up manual sewing.
●
Call up the "bobbin change" function.
●
After cleaning press double start keys

at the same time.
