7 Maintenance, Inspection and Replacement of parts
7.1 Inspection schedule
The System is a well-engineered and safe product. To ensure its continuous safe operation
during its full lifetime it is important to inspect it for damages or excessive wear. Always follow
this inspection schedule when using the System. Doing so will ensure safe operation and
reduction of risks.
Risk of electrocution if the mains supply, the socket plug or the interior of the Technical
Cabinet has been exposed to excessive amounts of water.
Do not touch the equipment until the electricity has been shut off!

Before and after installation:
With the cable unplugged: Inspect the insulation along the entire
length of the cable. Look for damages.
Inspect the socket plug as well as the cable gland going into the
Technical Cabinet. If not, damages found – restore the mains
connection.
Unplugging the cable for a short time will not affect the
ongoing measurement session or data coming in.
During operation:
Make sure the power cable is routed in a safe way and that the
socket plug or socket is not exposed to water.
Unplug the cable – then continue to inspect the insulation along the
entire length of the cable. Look for damages.
Unplug the cable before inspecting it!
In case of damages the equipment should be taken out of operation,
marked as faulty or dangerous and then shipped to an authorized
maintenance workshop.
The mains cable should only be replaced by an authorized
maintenance workshop.
