Instructions for Installation and Use - Technical Cabinet with Main Unit and Nodes – Preliminary Draft –

Often it is of interest to monitor both the core temperature and the temperature close to the 

surface in a concrete structure. A wise regime to adopt is to use the TOP channel for the 

thermocouple placed near the surface and the BOTTOM channel for the thermocouple placed 

in the core. 
When monitoring cooling pipes, the TOP channel can be used for the inlet while the BOTTOM 

for the outlet. Which channels are used where is of course completely up to the user’s 

preferences but it is recommended to adopt a standard regime used throughout the project. 

Make sure to document the Node number and channel used for each thermocouple. 

The thermocouples are normally not accessible after the pour.  

4.2  Accessing the Web Application 

Login  to www.peri.instite.app  using your credentials, if you already have a  user account 

otherwise create a new one and follow the instructions. 

4.3  Creating a project and starting a measurement session  

To create projects and start measurement sessions you need to have the proper administrative 

rights. Contact your sales representative if you are unable to manage your  Projects and 

Hardware using the Web Application. 

 

Projects 

Projects can be viewed on the starting page of the web application. Create a new project by 

clicking on “Create a new project” and enter the details like name and location of the project in 

the info box. Save the settings. You can change the settings by clicking on the cogwheel next 

to the project.  
A project typically bears the name of the construction site and its Geographical location. 

Alternative names are possible.  
Example: High rise towers – London 
Each project can contain multiple dashboards with different measurements created from more 

than one System. Select the Main Unit to use from the list of available Main Units. The number 

of units visible in the list depends on how many units that are assigned to you. If no unit is 

visible – contact your sales representative. 

A Main Unit can only be assigned to one project at a time. To release a Main Unit and 

make it available for another project click on the “finish project” button in the project 

settings. Already stored data and existing measurement sessions in the project 

disconnected from the Main Unit will not be affected.

 It is recommended to attain proper training before managing measurement projects.

Dashboards and Measurement sessions 

A new dashboard for a project is created by entering the name in the "Create New Dashboard" 

tile and confirming it by clicking "+".
