8. STORAGE AND TRANSPORT

8.1. CHAIN PROTECTION

Put on the chain protector (17) whenever transporting,

handling and storing the tool.

Warning

Never transport the chainsaw without

its protective cover.

8.2. OFF-SEASON STORAGE

• Always clean the tool before storing it.

• Make sure the chain is sharp before storing the tool.

• Always store the tool with its chain guide greased.

• Empty the oil reservoir before storing the tool.

• Put on the chain protector (17) during transport and storage.
