6. SERVICE
6.1. MAINTENANCE ADVICE
Caution
Always disconnect the tool battery before starting tool maintenance.
• Use products recommended by PELLENC.
• In the event of any problem, consult an authorised PELLENC distributor.
6.2. THE FOUR BASIC RULES
• Rule No. 1: The chain must be correctly tensioned.
A properly tensioned chain improves cutting perfor-
mance and reduces the risk of breakage and / or de-
railment of the chain.
Refer to procedure Section 6.5, “Automatic chain ten-
sioning”
• Rule No. 2: The chain must be well lubricated.
Constant lubrication reduces wear and the risk of
breakage of components and of the tool.
