5. Place the nut (20) in the position provided on the
mounting part (16).
6. Fit the washer (21) and screw (22).
7. Tighten the screw (22) using a 5 mm hex socket and
a torque wrench.
Important
Tightening torque: 6 N.m
Warning
Wear protective gloves when han-
dling the tool.
The correct setting is reached when the machine moves back with almost no effort by the user.
Walk backwards while working, so as not to tread on the completed work.
To find the optimum setting, put the working tool in position “0”.
• If the machine tends to sink too far into the ground and does reverse towards the used, dismount the working tool
head following the procedure explained above and tilt it towards "+" side with respect to the position "0".
• If the machine tends not to dig deeply, and comes out of the soil jerking abruptly, tilt the working tool head into
a position towards the “-” side.
• Repeat the operation as many times as necessary until you find the optimum setting.
Note
It may be necessary to alter the tilt of the working tool head according to the topology of the ground surface
(hedgerows, ditches, hills, etc.).
