5.3. HOLDING THE TOOL
1. Hold the tool by the rear handle (1) and the front
handle (6).
2. Be sure to check that the tool is not touching any-
thing.
3. The nom_outil is in ‘start’ position.
Important
Do not work anywhere other than in soil.
Never disconnect the battery cable without
checking that the battery switch is at 0.
5.4. START-UP IN NORMAL MODE
1. For improved stability hold the machine in its oper-
ating position, with the tool attachment held off the
ground.
2. Turn on the battery by pressing the On/Off button (refer to Section 5.2, “Turning on the battery”). .
If any LED on the handle is on, the tool is ‘On’ and ready to operate.
Important
Always start the motor before bringing the tool
head into contact with the ground.
3. Lift the so that it does not touch the ground when
starting up.
