COM3 PROTOCOL

Defines the usage mode of the RS232 serial port on an external S318 optical fiber interface:

Selectable values:

None:

 Serial communication disabled

Contin:

 Continuous transmission of the weight string. Can be used, among other things, to drive a 

weight repeater. See the relevant section for details.

Slave:

 ASCII protocol. See the relevant section for details.

Modbus:

 MODBUS RTU protocol. See the relevant section for details.
