BODi rS BD1000 User Manual 

9 • Configuring Miscellaneous Services

Note

For the BD1000 in NAT mode, the VIP should be set as the default 
gateway for all hosts sitting on the LAN segment. For example, a fire-
wall sitting behind the BD1000 should set its default gateway as the 
VIP instead of the IP of the Master BD1000.

In Drop-in mode, no other configuration needs to be set.
