mains is required, and in the absence of a good mains, the ignition process will
even break. The order of changing the value of any function in the current welding
mode, see cl.6.1.
3.3 "ARC-FORCE" FUNCTION
Advantages:
•
increased welding stability on a short arc;
•
improvement of metal drop-transfer in the weld pool;
•
improved arc ignition;
•
decrease in the probability of the electrode sticking (but this is not the “Anti
-
Stick” function);
•
manual setting: allows you to set the level of the function to a minimum value,
which is insignificant, but reduces energy consumption, as well as the
concentration of heat input when welding thin metals. It reduces the
possibility of burning, and reduces the stability of combustion in a short arc
(the machine becomes similar to a transformer source). You can also increase
the function value to a maximum value for even greater stability of burning in
a short arc, but this requires a better supply network and increases the
possibility of the product burn-through.
How is this achieved:
By reducing the arc voltage below the minimum allowable for stable arc burning,
the arc current rises by the default level of + 40%.
In the advanced settings, you can change both the "Arc-Force" force [Ar.F] and
the trigger level of this function [u.AF]. Without the need, do not overestimate the
force and the level of the “Arc
-
Force”, because at high limit values, especially when
welding with thin electrodes (less than Ø 3.2 mm), it affects the “Anti
-
stick”
function activation.
