Raising the foot end
You can change the angle of the leg section so that the foot end is raised.
The angle of the leg section must be adjusted by
at least two persons from both sides of the bed. If
only one person attempts to adjust the angle, the
person may get caught between the leg section
and main frame, resulting in injury.
The angle of the leg section base can be manually adjusted in two levels.
Normally, the leg section base moves to position (b) when the knee section base is raised.
Adjustment to position (a) should be performed when the knee section base is raised.
When adjusting to position (a), hold the end of the leg section base and pull it up, and lift up the end
of the leg section base stay. When the end of the leg section base stay moves to position (A), lower
the leg section base slowly.
When adjusting to position (b), hold the end of the leg section base and pull it up. When the end of
the leg section base stay moves to position (B), lower the leg section base slowly.
