STARTER MODE l CALL & MESSAGES
Adding members for contacts group

Tap Apps from the Home Screen and tap People .

Tap Groups on the top of the screen.

Tap and hold the group that you want to add members and tap Edit
Group . Or tap the group name and tap on the left top side of the
screen.

Tap Add group member .

Type the member’s name in the Find contacts field, or select the
checkbox before the contact to add to the group.

Tap Done.

Tap Save .
Setting speed dials

Tap Apps from the Home Screen and tap People .

Tap B and tap Speed dial setting .

Tap a number from 2 to 96 and tap Add .

Select and tap contacts and their desired number for the speed dial.
The following speed dial entries are already assigned to your Verizon
Wireless Account Information:

1 - Voice mail
x
97 - Account Balance
x
98 - Calling minutes
x
99 - Payment
x
100 - Data usage
Creating contacts

Tap Apps from the Home Screen and tap People .

Tap .

Tap Phone or Google above your Google account to save the new
contact. Or tap Add new account and follow the instructions.

Enter related information, such as name, phone number, email
address, postal address, organization, etc.

Tap , tap Take photo or Choose photo from Gallery and follow
the instructions to assign a photo for the contact.

Tap Add another field to add another field for the contact. Select
field names and tap OK .

Tap Save when you finish entering information for the contact.
Note
You can create a contact by entering the telephone number
first. Tap Phone , enter a telephone number, and tap Save in the
middle of the screen. Refer to page 39 for more information.
Creating groups for contacts

Tap Apps from the Home Screen and tap People .

Tap Groups on the top of the screen and tap on the bottom of
the screen.

Enter the group name and tap Save .
