Since the color compensation technology is used for “Auto3(Super Chrome Compensation(SCC))”,
some colors may look different from the actual objects depending on the light condition (such as when
infrared lights are used).
•
The operating sound might be heard when changing to black-and-white mode, however it does not
indicate any malfunction.
•
When images are made darker by pressing the [-] (darker) [Brightness] button on the “Live” page,
images may not automatically switch to black and white mode.
[Level]
Select the threshold illuminance level (brightness) to switch between the color mode and the black & white
mode.
The descriptions about the following threshold illuminance levels are given when “Off” is selected for “Super
Dynamic(SD)”.
•
High:
Switches from the color mode to the black & white mode when the ambient brightness (illuminance)
of the camera is approx. 2 lx or less.
•
Low:
Switches from the color mode to the black & white mode when the ambient brightness (illuminance)
of the camera is approx. 1 lx or less.
•
Default:
High
[Dwell time]
Select a wait time for switching between the color mode and the black & white mode from the following.
2s/ 10s/ 30s/ 1min

[IR LED Light]
Select whether or not to use the built-in IR LED light when in black-and-white mode, and select the intensity
of the IR LED light from the following.
•
Off:
IR LED light does not light.
•
Auto(High)/Auto(Mid)/Auto(Low):
The IR LED light lights, and according to the luminance of the subject,
the screen will automatically become brighter. “High”, “Mid”, and “Low” are indications of the IR LED light
intensity.
•

“IR LED Light” can be used when “On” or “Auto2(IR Light)” is selected for “Day & Night(IR)”.
•
Adjust the “IR LED Light” settings according to factors such as the setting conditions or distance from
the subject.
[Intensity control]
When “On” is selected for “Intensity control”, the intensity is controlled so that subjects in images are not
overexposed.

“Intensity control” is only available when “On” or “Auto2(IR Light)” is selected for “Day & Night(IR)”, and
“Off” is selected for “Wide dynamic range”.
•
When “On” is selected for “Intensity control” and there is a bright part in an image, the entire image
may be made darker. In this case, if you select “Off” for “Intensity control”, the image will become
brighter.
