8 Configure the settings relating to images

The JPEG and H.264 image settings and settings relating to image quality and RS485 can be configured on
this page.
The “Image” page has 3 tabs; the [JPEG/H.264] tab, the [Image/Position] tab and the [RS485] tab.
8.1 Configure the settings relating to the Picture
(Camera) mode/Video input [JPEG/H.264]
Click the [JPEG/H.264] tab on the “Image” page. (

[Video input]
Select the camera video input from the following.
NTSC/PAL
•
Default:
NTSC (P model), PAL (E model)
Note
•
When “NTSC” is selected for “Video input”, the maximum frame rate is 30 fps. When “PAL” is selected,
the maximum frame rate is 25 fps.
•
When the [Set] button is pressed after changing the “Video input” setting, the settings are reset to the
default and the unit is rebooted. Note that the network settings will not be reset.
[Picture (Camera) mode]
Select the picture (camera) mode from the following.
VGA [4:3]/ VGA [16:9]/ D1

Default:
VGA [4:3]

When “Picture (Camera) mode” is changed to “D1” or the mode is changed from “D1” to another mode,
the unit will reboot automatically.

When “D1” is selected for “Picture (Camera) mode”, some of the functions will not be available.

the support of Panasonic network disk recorders when “D1” is selected for “Picture (Camera) mode”.

Image/Position adjustment function is activated for the angle of view in “VGA [4:3]” even when “VGA
[16:9]” is selected for “Picture (Camera) mode”. Because a part of the connected camera's setup menu
will not be displayed in this case, we recommend changing the “Picture (Camera) mode” setting to
“VGA [4:3]”.
