Alarm Setup [460]
The following procedures are only available when the AV Codec is set to TRANSMITTER in the
[100 MODE]
menu.
This menu lets you set the alarm methods when the codec located at the remote site receives an alarm signal from the associ-
ated alarm sensor.
The destinations called by the alarm dialing are specified with the quick (short) dial numbers previously registered. Before set-
ting this menu, be sure to register the quick (short) dial number in the
[310 DIRECTORY REGI.]
menu.

Move the cursor to the ALARM TYPE
parameter. Then select a mode by pressing
the Direction buttons.
This item lets you select the signal type for the alarm or
sensor input.
• LEVEL:
Accepts an alarm signal that remains on for a specific
time.
While the associated alarm sensor is on, the alarm
transmission will continue.
• EDGE:
Accepts an alarm signal that is a short pulse.
