8.1.5.1.

When to replace the toner cartridge and the drum cartridge

When the display shows the following, replace the toner cartridge.

Note:

• To check the drum life and quality, please print the printer test list (Refer to (

ITU-T No.1 Test Chart

(P.248)). If printing quality is

still poor or “REPLACE DRUM” appears on the display, replace the toner cartridge and drum cartridge.

• To ensure that the unit operates properly, we recommend the use of Panasonic toner and drum cartridges. (Refer to

Optional

Accessories

(P.20)).

• To maintain print quality and machine life, we recommend you to clean slots and openings and the inside of the unit when replac-

ing the toner cartridge and/or drum cartridge.

Waste disposal method

Waste material should be disposed of under conditions which meet all national and local environmental regulations.

Caution:

If you are replacing the Toner and/or Drum Cartridge, it is recom-
mended to clean the Printer Roller to maintain good printing quality.
