Determine whether or not to install the viewer software from this camera.

On:
Installs the viewer software from the camera automatically.
•
Off:
The viewer software cannot be installed from the camera.

Perform settings to display camera images on the viewer software.

On:
Images are temporarily stored on the computer and are displayed smoother.
•
Off:
Images are displayed in real-time and are not stored on the computer.

IMPORTANT
•
It is impossible to display images and to receive/transmit audio between the camera and the PC when
the viewer software “Network Camera View 4S” is not installed on the PC.
•
The number of the viewer software installations can be checked on the [Upgrade] tab of the
“Maintenance” page.
[Monitor out]
Select whether or not to use the audio output terminal as an adjustment monitor output terminal.
You can also select the video format used.

IMPORTANT
•
In order to use an adjustment monitor output terminal, “9M Fisheye” or “4M Fisheye” must be selected
for “Image capture mode”. When “9M Fisheye” is selected for “Image capture mode”, only
2992x2992/640x640/320x320 can be used for the image capture size.
•
When “On(NTSC)” or “On(PAL)” is selected for “Monitor out”, the following actions cannot be
performed.
–
“JPEG(1)” and “JPEG(2)” cannot be transmitted.
–
“Audio output” of “Audio” cannot be used.
–
Snapshot on the “Live” page cannot be used.
–
JPEG images cannot be recorded to SD memory cards.
–
Images cannot be attached to E-mail notifications.
–
Alarm images cannot be sent to FTP servers.
–
FTP periodic transmission cannot be performed.
•
The date, time, and camera title are not displayed on the adjustment monitor.
Note
•
Monitor out is intended for use when performing tasks, such as checking the angle of viewable images,
with a video receiving device when installing or servicing the camera, and cannot be used for recording
or surveillance purposes.
[For using a Panasonic Network Microphone]
Use this setting when you want to use your network camera with a Panasonic network microphone.
When the [For using a Panasonic Network Microphone] button is clicked, a setup menu will be displayed in a
newly opened window.
