DOLBY DIGITAL and DTS
Dolby Digital and DTS are adopted for the digital coding system
in DVD for bearing the surround. They both were developed for
cinemas.
The unit can automatically identify and decode these codes.
The software, which is coded
by Dolby Digital, is provided
with the tag.

provided with the tag.
Play Dolby Digital and DTS signal source
Dolby Digital or DTS indicator lights.
To mix Dolby Digital or DTS (5.1 channel)signal into double
channels.
Press [D.MIX].
To cancel it, Press [D.MIX]
Sound field/Sound quality
It enables you to feel that the sound from the center speaker is being
produced by the television.
Press [C. FOCUS]
When super surround is in operation, this function does not work.
When Dolby Pro Logic is on, the effect of the function is worse.
SOUND FIELD CONTROL
Press [SFC] to select a setting.
Each time you press the button, the settings varies as follows:
HEAVY: to increase the forcefulness of rock music.
CLEAR: to obtain distinct treble zone.
SOFT: for background
FLAT: to cancel (no effects added) (factory preset).
To check current setting:
Press [SFC].
CENTER FOCUS
If the unit is connected to headphone, Dolby Pro Logic, super
surround, center focus and subwoofer adjustment are impossible
to use.
When these systems of sound field are commonly used together
with other certain signal sources, sound quality will be worse.
Here you should turn off the system of sound field.
