Listening to messages

When new messages have been 
recorded:
– The MESSAGE indicator on the base 

unit will flash.

– The message indicator on the handset 

will flash slowly if the message alert 
feature is turned on (page 51).

The base unit display will show the number 
of messages (old and new) recorded by 
the answering system.
Example: The total number of recorded 
messages is 10.

Listening to messages using 
the base unit
