
4.12 Power Failure Connections
When the power supply to the PBX and/or Expansion Unit fails, power failure transfer (PFT) will switch from
the current connection to the Power Failure Connection. Refer to "15.1.9 Power Failure Transfer" in the Feature
Manual for further information.
The table below shows PFT support Cards and PFT support ports.

A CO line conversation established during power failure can be maintained even when the power
returns and the connection is switched back to the normal configuration from the Power Failure
Connection.
•
KX-NS720 does not support PFT.
•
The maximum number of available PFT ports is always 2, regardless of the number of connected
Expansion Units.
