To enter fax settings, proceed as follows:
1.
Ensure that
Initial Configuration
is complete.
2.
Press
Device Settings
icon.
3.
Enter
Admin Password
, and press [
Login
].
Note
: This is the password you established during
Initial Configuration
.
4.
Press [
Fax Config
].
5.
Enter
Email domain
for fax transmissions.
6.
Enter
Default Email Address
.
7.
Select [
Use user’s email address when available
] or
[
Always use default sender email address
].
8.
Press [
Apply
] > [
Exit
].
9.
Press [
Yes
].
Note
: Press [
No
] if you wish to go back and edit settings.
Main Menu now includes [Scan to Fax] button…
Step 2:
Fax Configuration
Scan to Fax enables users to scan documents to specified fax number(s) using a fax server, cloud fax service or IP network-connected
fax/MFP. If necessary, see
Scan to Fax Prerequisites
.
You can configure fax functionality from the adapter touch screen or
Admin Tool
. In the example below, settings are established from the
touch screen.
