Chilli con carne
4 servings
500 g minced beef
150 g onions
150 g green pepper
150 g red pepper
1 clove of garlic
400 g tinned peeled tomatoes
2 tbsp. tomato puree
1 tsp. chilli powder
pinch of cayenne pepper
pinch of black pepper
1 can baked beans
1. Place the meat in a large flat-bottomed dish and separate with a
fork. Cover with a lid and microwave on 1000 watts for 4 min.
2. Stir the meat with a fork and break up the larger pieces. Add
chopped onions, diced pepper, garlic, peeled tomatoes, tomato
puree, chilli powder, cayenne pepper and black pepper and mix well.
3. Cover with a lid.
4. Microwave on 1000 watts for 10 min. Stir halfway through the
cooking time.
5. Add the baked beans, stir, cover with a lid or with cling film and
microwave on 600 watts for 10 min. Season to taste and serve with
bread.
Roast pork
4 – 6 servings
Roast pork auto program
1 rib roast, 1200 g
salt, pepper
1 dl water
ovenproof dish
1. Put 1 dl of water and 1 tsp. of salt in a dish.
2. Weigh the roast and lay it in the dish with the fat side downwards.
Place the Metal Tray in the oven and start the auto weight Roast
Pork Program.
3. When the oven has preheated, place the dish inside the oven, select
the weight and press start.
4. When the oven beeps, remove the dish from the oven, turn the roast
over and score it with a sharp knife if desired.
5. Prop up the roast if necessary with a thick slice of potato so that the
roast lies level.
6. At the end of the cooking time, grill for 3 – 5 min. if desired, so that
the crackling becomes crisp. Sprinkle extra salt on the crackling if
desired.
7. Allow the roast to stand for at least 10 min. before serving.
