Problem
Cause and/or solution
Battery performance is poor
•
Try using eco mode to save battery power. See “eco mode”
(page 21).
•
Check all connections and charge the battery again.
•
Ambient temperature is too hot or too cold.
•
If the phone is out of range of a mobile network, the phone
continuously searches for an available mobile network and therefore
consumes more battery power.
•
Battery performance varies by usage conditions and degrades over
time.
•
The battery is a consumable item. If the amount of time the phone
can be used becomes dramatically shorter and repeated recharging
does not restore the battery’s performance, contact an authorised
service centre and request that your phone’s battery be replaced with
a new one.
Temperature error icon is
displayed
•
If you use the phone for an extended period of time while charging it,
the phone can become hot. Disconnect the phone from the AC
adaptor or power source and allow it to cool down before charging it
again. Features displayed in the notifications panel cannot be used
while the temperature error icon is displayed.
“Charging error” icon is displayed
•
Open the notifications panel and follow the on-screen instructions for
solving the problem.
