Setting the Password on boot (enabling, disabling)

Run the Setup Utility. (

Using either the

key or the

key, select [Security].

Using either the

key, select [Password on boot] and
press the
Enter
key.

Select [Enable] or [Disable].

To enable the Password on boot:

To disable the Password on boot

key, select [Disable] and press the

Press the
F10
key and select [Yes], then press the
Enter
key.
Starting Up When the Password on boot is Set
The screen shown at left is displayed.
Enter your password
and press the
Enter
key.

When the correct password is input, the computer will start
z
After 3 wrong password attempts have been made or there is no input for one minute, the
computer will power off
