12. Safety Measures
12-1 Safety Circuit
This system is equipped with a safety circuit in case of damage or accidents.
1) Prevent the lamp cover from coming off
If the lamp cover is off, or the bolt is loose, the lamp will not come on.
2) Prevent overheating
A thermal circuit is equipped on the system-internal power circuit and optical device. In the event
of an overheat, the thermal circuit will turn off the lamp.
3) Overcurrent protection
A (5A) fuse is installed on the system-internal power circuit (PCB) and main unit for overcurrent
protection.
4) If the lamp voltage exceeds the maximum limit over time, the lamp will shut off.
5) .When an external terminal is connected, the control circuit will stop if 24V and GND are mistakenly
shorted.
12-2. Replacing the Fuse
A spare fuse is kept in the power socket. If the fuse blows, replace it with the spare.
When removing the fuse from the fuse holder, be careful not to apply excessive force to
the glass portion.

Turn off the power and unplug the power cord, then
remove the fuse holder from the power socket.

Remove the blown fuse.

Remove the spare fuse, and install it in place of the fuse
removed in step 2.

Put the fuse holder back in place. NB: We recommend
adding a spare fuse (5 A, 5.2 mm diam. x 20 mm) while
operation is stopped.
