building / wiring regulations before installing the AC charger.

The AC charger should be installed by a qualified technician according to
the user manual and local safety regulations for the country in which it is
fitted.
•
To protect against overload and short circuit faults, a miniature circuit
breaker with B, C or D tripping curve, or fuse, having a maximum rated
current of 40Amp must be installed in the upstream AC distribution box.
•
Aspen(672142) is equipped with an integral type B residual current
detection device (RCD-DD), which offers protection against residual
current faults with the following characteristics:
•
Type A (sinusoidal) 30mA 40mS
•
Pulsating direct currents superimposed on a smooth direct current up
to 12mA
Where
an
RCD
is
installed
in
the
power
system
supplying
the
charger,
it
must
be
a
minimum
of
type
A.
Type
F
or
Type
B
devices
are
also
suitable.
Type
AC
RCDs
are
NOT
permitted.

6. Installation Instructions
6.1 System Requirements
a) Power Grid Connection and Grounding Type
•
The AC charger can support different power grid connection arrangements
and grounding types, through the setting of two internal dip switches
. Setting methods are shown below.
•
Before setting the dip switches, ensure that the input power to the
charger is fully isolated.
•
Use a non-conductive object to set the dip switch.
