3.2.
Network
On the WAP-O3G main menu, the Network section has three links: LAN
Settings, Spanning Tree Settings, and SNMP Settings.
3.2.1.
LAN Settings
To configure the IP address of your WAP-O3G, on the WAP-O3G main menu, in the Network
section, click
LAN Settings
. The LAN Settings page appears where you can configure the WAP-
O3G with a static IP address or obtain an IP address automatically using a DHCP client.
Network Settings
: If your WAP-O3G is connected to a DHCP server (such as a
router), choose
Obtain an IP address automatically.
Your WAP-O3G will
automatically assign IP addresses to clients associated with it.
Use the following IP address (default):
Select this option if you want to use a static
IP address. Type the appropriate entries in the text boxes for
IP Address
,
IP Subnet
Mask
,
and
Default Gateway
.
Click
Apply
to save your changes.

Spanning Tree Settings
To configure a Spanning Tree protocol for your O3G device, in the WAP-O3G main menu, in the
Network section, click
Spanning Tree Settings
.
