Administration
In the WAP-O3G main menu, in the System group, click
Administration
. The Administration
page appears where you can specify a user name and password for the WAP-O3G. By default,
the WAP-O3G is configured with the name
pakedge
and the password
pakedgea
. For security, it
is imperative to change the default user name and password.
Name
: Type the user
name.
Password
: Type a password.
Confirm Password:
Re-type the password.
Click
Apply
to save your changes.

Maintenance
In the WAP-O3G main menu, in the
System
group, click
Maintenance
. The Maintenance page
appears where you can save your settings for the WAP-O3G in a text file. This is useful when, for
example, you need to configure several devices with the same settings.
Backup Current Configuration
: Click
Backup
to save the current configuration in a
text file.
Restore Configuration
: If you have already backed up your WAP-O3G configuration
to a text file, you can quickly restore it. Click
Browse
and choose the backup file,
then click
Restore
.
Reset to Factory Default
: Click
Factory Default
to reset the WAP-O3G to the factory
default settings. After the device restarts, you can access the WAP-O3G at the
default IP address:
192.168.1.250
