Symptom Probable Cause Corrective Action
Pyro Furnace Not Heating,
Continued Defective Heater Element(s) Check for continuity in heater.
Replace heater if necessary.
Replace heater element(s).
Defective Solid-State Relay Check for input voltage to
relay. Check contact closure
on output. Replace relay if
necessary.
Defective Thermocouple Temperature controller will
display an error code. See
controller manual for
explanation of code.
Defective Temperature
Controller Check output signal (DCV) to
solid state relay. Replace
temperature controller as
needed.
Over Temp Circuit is latched Remove power form Furnace
Module for 10 seconds.
Furnace Overheating Shorted Thermocouple Replace Thermocouple.
Defective Solid-State Relay Replace SSR.
No Thermoelectric Cooling Defective 12 VDC Supply Replace 12 VDC Supply.
Defective temperature sensor Replace temperature sensor.
Defective Thermoelectric
Cooler (TEC) Replace TEC.
No or Low Gas Flow No supply pressure Readjust supply pressure or
replace supply source.
Leaking lines and/or fittings Test lines and fittings for leaks
and repair or replace leaking
lines and fittings.
Restricted Pyrotube Clean or replace Pyrotube.
Restricted Gas Line Clean or replace gas line.
