Transporting the E-Support
(1) Detach the battery so the power will not turn on during transportation.
WARNING
Store the detached battery with the protective cap on. There is a
danger of a short-circuit when the connecting portion is exposed.
(2) Lock the brakes for both wheels so the wheels will not spin.
(3) Fold the wheelchair. Be careful to keep the wires clear.
Note:
· Turn the foot plate in the direction of the arrow and fold it.
· Lift the center of both ends of the seat bottom at the same time. Then fold
the handles together.
(4) Load the wheelchair gently, holding the frame portion of the wheelchair
with both hands.
WARNING
Do not hold the push ring, battery, or cable when lifting the
wheelchair. This may cause damage to the unit.
(5) During transport, secure the wheelchair by putting something under it to
serve as a cushion, so the chair does not rattle.
(6) When using the wheelchair after transporting it, set it up using the
following procedure.
Note:
· Lift the push handles in the direction of the arrow and spread them to the
right and left.
· Hold onto one of the handles and push the seat tube portion downward.
