6. Remove the mini empanada carefully from the mold and set it aside. Repeat
steps 1 through 5 to prepare all the desired mini empanadas.
7. Open the Oster
®
Mini Empanada Maker by lifting up on the locking lid.
8. Clean the cooking surfaces with a dampened cloth. DO NOT IMMERSE THE
UNIT IN THE WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
9. Close the unit, lock it and plug into the outlet. The orange power indicator light
( ) will illuminate. Wait until the green bake ready indicator light ( ) is on and
then place the mini empanadas on the bottom cooking plate (up to 6 each batch).
10. Close the lid and lock the lid latch.
11. Allow them to cook for approximately 5-6 minutes or until golden on the outside.
CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH THE COOKING SURFACES, AS THEY ARE
VERY HOT.
12. When ready, open the lid and remove the mini empanadas using a
non-scratching/heat-resistant spatula or utensil. The mini empanadas and
the cooking surfaces will be HOT; do not touch them with your hands to
avoid burning.
13. If you desire to prepare a new batch of mini empanadas, repeat steps 9 through
12 immediately to avoid cooling down the plates.
14. After you have completed using the appliance, unplug the unit from the electrical
outlet. DO NOT wrap the cord on the metal hinges in back of the unit.
