Printer Assembly
Removal
To remove the printer assembly, first open the printer cover to gain access to the
printer assembly. Remove the pump cartridge to allow enough free space for
removing the printer assembly without interference in the printer compartment.
The pump cartridge can be removed by grasping it and pulling it up.
Next remove the printer paper and set aside. Two thumb screws which hold the
printer assembly in place can now be loosened – see Figure below. After the
thumb screws have been loosened, the printer can be slid towards the rear of the
analyzer. Disconnect the printer ribbon cable that attaches to the printer.
The printer assembly can now be removed.
In case the printer mechanism is replaced, unscrew the printer shroud and loosen
the four (4) screws holding the printer to the PCB.
Disconnect the flex cable from the receptacle.
