6.3 SKYCUTTER
™
SkyCutter ™ is capable of cutting up to a thickness of 3/8” metal. It
can produce 27 A at 92 VDC at 35% duty cycle or 14 A at 92 VDC
at 60% duty cycle. This accessory receives power from the Sky
-
Power ™ system.
Safety Precautions
DO NOT OVERLOAD PLATFORM.
DE-RATE THE PLATFORM BY 70 LB (32 KG) WHEN PLASMA CUTTER IS IN PLATFORM.
• Check for cracked welds and damage to plasma supports.
• Check for secure installation of cutter and bracket.
• Ensure no personnel are beneath platform.
• Do not exit platform over rails or stand on rails.
• Use this option only on approved models.
• Keep lanyard attached at all times.
• Use correct cutting settings.
• Do not use electrical cords without ground.
• Do not use electrical tools in water.
• Do not cut platform, or ground through the platform.
• Wear proper cutting apparel.
• Do not drive machine while connected to external air/gas
sources.
