SHOW_VERSION
Reports the Easy-MCS firmware version number in the form:
Fmmmmm-vvv<CR>
where mmmmm is a 4-character model designator and vvv is a 3-character version designator.

START [seg-mask]
Starts the acquisition of data. The optional segment mask may be any value from 0 to 65535
but is ignored. If external start is enabled (see ENABLE_TRIGGER), the first scan will start
on the first external start input after the START command is issued (see Section 2.1.1 for
hardware details). If external start is disabled, the first scan starts immediately after the start
command is issued.
STOP [seg-mask]
Stops the acquisition of data at the end of the current pass. The optional segment mask may be
any value from 0 to 65535 but is ignored. When the STOP command is issued, the acquisition
will not stop until the end of the current scan. Use the SHOW_ACTIVE command to deter-
mine when the acquisition actually stops. If you wish to stop the acquisition without com-
pleting the current scan, use the STOP command twice.
VERIFY_DWELL value[,step]
Used to determine the valid dwell-time setting closest to a specific value. The VERIFY com-
mands allow you to test for the closest valid setting without changing the setting. The soft-
ware remembers the actual setting prior to the VERIFY test and resets that original value after
the test.

VERIFY_LLSCA value[,step]
This command is used to determine the valid SCA lower-level setting close to a specific
value. For the use and operation of a verify command, see VERIFY_DWELL.
