Operations sequence

General instructions

cpg

.0: GIS medium-voltage switchgear,

gas insulated, up to 40.5 kV,

in accordance with IEC Standard

Cable test

Once the earthing switch is closed and the cable

compartment cover removed, proceed as follows:

With a flat screwdriver, or similar tool, push through

the "cable compartment cover open" interlock

slot, releasing this interlock and the circuit-breaker

operating pushbuttons.

Press the "0" pushbutton to disconnect the circuit-

breaker.

Open the earthing switch. For safety reasons, it is

advisable to padlock access to the feeder disconnector

operation.

Press the "I" pushbutton to connect the circuit-breaker.

Return the cubicle to its initial condition by proceeding in

reverse order:

Press the "0" pushbutton to disconnect the circuit-

breaker.

Close the earthing switch.

Press the "I" pushbutton to connect the circuit-breaker.

Lift the cable compartment cover interlock with a

flat screwdriver or similar, and position the cable

compartment cover.
