The issue of SCSI ID assignment is addressed by persistent binding. Persistent
binding is a host bus adapter (HBA) function that allows a subset of discovered targets
to be bound between a server and device.
Implemented by a WWNN or WWPN, persistent binding causes a tape drive's WWN to
be bound to a specific SCSI target ID.
Software that Supports the SL150

About Automated Cartridge System Library Software (ACSLS)
ACSLS manages all library operations, efficiently sharing library resources with
any ACSLS-enabled application, allowing centralized library control across multiple
StorageTek libraries.
To use ACSLS, you must set the SL150's Drive Element Addressing mode to Installed
Drives Only.

StorageTek Tape Analytics (STA)
StorageTek Tape Analytics (STA) is an intelligent monitoring application for tape
libraries.
STA simplifies tape storage management and allows you to make informed decisions
about future tape storage investments based on the current health of the tape storage
