
Note:
You must configure Port 2 with a different subnet than Port 1 to create
a secure and private network connection to pass the encryption keys
between the library and the OKM cluster.

From the "Configure IPv4" drop-down list select either:
•
Static — You must enter the Address, Netmask, and Gateway. In most cases,
you will want to choose Static so that library interface clients can always find
the server at a stable, well-known network location.
•
DHCP — A DHCP server must be running on your network to use this setting.

Set the Library Date and Time
Use the configuration wizard to set the library date and time.

. Select Set the Library Date and Time.

Select the Time Zone and Closest City or Region from the drop-down lists. Click
Next.

Either set the time Manually or use NTP:
•
Manually — Enter the date using the format
mm/dd/yyyy
(month/day/year).
Enter the time using the format
hh:mm:ss
(hour:minute:seconds).
•
Network Time Protocol — Enter the addresses of up to three NTP servers.

Click Next.
Configure Library Settings
Library settings include the Drive Element Addressing mode, Drive Auto Clean mode,
mailslot configuration, reserved system slot configuration, partitioning configuration,
bridged drive selection, and volume label format.

From the "Drive Element Addressing Mode:" drop-down, select either:
•
Address All Drive Slots (Recommended) — Assigns new SCSI hardware
addresses to all drive bays in the library, whether or not drives are actually
installed.
