8.3 FEATURES
The following sections describe in detail the procedures that have to be followed to
activate the functions described above along with the sub-menu windows that display
when these features are activated.
These features are generally available in all operating modes (Bscan, Biometry,
Diagnostic Ascan). Some specific features are however available in some operating
modes only, as specified below.

– Enables the operator's name to be entered

- Reset to the default parameters

Keyboard
– Open a virtual keyboard on the screen

Record
– Record of a movie (the movie is automatically
saved at the end of the acquisition.

3D
– Reconstruction of a 3D image from a specific movie
•
Play
– Play of a recorded movie
•
Zoom
– zoom of images (only Bscan)
•
Gain
– Modify the amplification applied to the
echographic signal.
•
Delay
– Move the image along the time axis.
•
Image size
– Modify the size of the image
•
Scan Rate
– Modify the frame rate of the image
•
Pulse
– Duration of the stimulus applied to the transducer
•
Velocity
– setting of the ultrasound velocity
•
DB
– Patients and tests database management
