Split point configuration menu
When split point
is enabled,
the Braille
display will be divided into two segments.
This enables you to read and interact with two devices simultaneously. For example,
the Bluetooth® screen reader output of a mobile phone can be displayed on the first
segment of the Braille display while the second segment can be used to read the PC
screen reader output via the USB connection. The cell between the two segments will
have all 8 dots raised to indicate where the first segment ends and the second
segment starts. By default the first segment will display the information send via the
Bluetooth® connection. The second segment will display the information send via the
USB connection. To be able to use the split point feature, please make sure your
screen reader supports this function. To find out if your screen reader supports the
ALVA split point functionality, please refer to your screen reader documentation.
