To install the emergency power off, please proceed as follows:
1.) Switch off UPS system.
2.) Remove connector from the emergency power off terminal
block. For this purpose first undo the two outer screws.
3.) Connect the connections on the connector removed to a
floating normally open contact. (Rating: max. 60V DC /
30V AC, 20mA). Use a cable with a cable cross-section of
0.3mm²
–
0.75mm² for the connection.
4.) Fit configured connector back in the terminal block for
emergency power off, lock secure against unintentional
disconnection by fixing with the two screws.
5.) To switch on the UPS system, ensure the floating normally
open contact from step 3.) is deactivated. Then the UPS
system can be started.
6.) To test the emergency power off, activate the normally
open contact.
7.) Re-start by deactivating the normally open contact again.
