Cinema Re-EQ mode
Re-Equalization takes the edginess or "brighteness" out of your home
cinema sound, compensating for the fact that sound mixed for theaters
will sound too bright when played back through speakers in the home
environment.
To set the Cinema Re-EQ mode
Press CINEMA Re-EQ when “SURROUND” is shown on the display.
The CINEMA Re-EQ indicator appears at an upper part of the display
and the message “CINEMA Re-EQ” scrolls.
To cancel the Cinema Re-EQ mode
Press CINEMA Re-EQ again.
Midnight Theater mode
This function is useful for playing late at night. In the Midnight Theater
mode, the dynamic range of sound is narrowed to reproduce comfort-
able sounds at low sound volumes.
To set the Midnight Theater mode
Press MIDNIGHT THEATER when the DOLBY DIGITAL indicator
is lit on the display.
The M.THEATER indicator appears at an upper part of the display and
the message “MIDNIGHT THEATER” scrolls.
To cancel the Midnight Theater mode
Press MIDNIGHT THEATER again.

Setting the listening mode
LFE (Low Frequency Effects) mode
In the LFE mode, the low-frequency range is attenuated by 10 dB to
reduce overemphasized bass sound.
To set the LFE mode
Press LFE LEVEL when the DOLBY DIGITAL indicator is lit on the
display.
The LFE –10dB indicator appears.
To cancel the LFE mode
Press LFE LEVEL again.
Adjusting the brightness of the display
Press DIMMER.
By pressing this button, you can change the brightness of the display to
three levels.
