The switch contents settings are made for each screen or sheet. Up to 10,000 contents
items can be set for each screen/sheet.

Screens set using the contents switching function are called contents display screens.

Either string display or image display is set for each contents display. Refer to
2-19-2 Con-
tents Display
for details on contents display settings.

Refer to
2-14 Alarms and Events
for information on alarm/event settings.

If more than one alarm/event occurs at the same time, the contents for the alarm/event with
the highest priority will be displayed. If the priority level is the same, the contents for the last
alarm/event that occurred will be displayed.

If switching contents when an alarm/event occurs or is cleared, the currently displayed con-
tents number will be stored at the address for switching contents. The contents display will
switch if the value at the address for switching contents changes, even if contents display is
switched using alarms/events.
Creating Contents Display Screens
The following procedure is used to create contents display screens.

Create the contents required for the screen.
2 Set whether to display a string or an image on the General Tab Page of the Contents Display
Property Settings Dialog Box.

Set the number of contents on the Edit Contents toolbar. Set the total number of strings and im-
ages to be displayed. Set the address for switching contents in the input field at

Set the communications address
for specifying contents switching.
Set the total number of contents to
be displayed.

Enter the contents number to be edited in the input field for

on the Edit Contents tool
bar.
Set the contents number to be edited.

Select the contents display and press the Space Key.
Enter the display string for contents display that will display a string.
A file selection dialog box will be displayed for contents display that displays images. Select the
image file to be displayed.
